Diabetic Screening Camp at Lumbini
On the special occasion of the 2566 th Buddha Jayanti and Lumbini Day 2079, Netradham Foundation, in collaboration with the Lumbini World Peace Forum and Netradham Eye Care Center Pvt. Ltd conducted 1-day free diabetes eye check-up program on Jeshtha 2, 2079 at Lumbini, birthplace of Gautam Buddha. Free eye examination and medicines were distributed in the camp, which was conducted to spread public awareness about the serious effects of diabetes on the eyes. The camp was conducted from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm under the supervision of Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya (Cataract & Vitreo-Retina Surgeon ). People from within the country as well as outside the country who came to visit sacred place of Lord Buddha seemed very happy to get free eye examination.
