Free Health Check-up and Treatment Camp at Gurudwara
1-day free health camp was held at Gurdwara Gurunanak Satsang, Kupandol Lalitpur on Saturday, 18th Ashad, 2079 with the aim of providing free health check-up and treatment and health awareness. The health camp was organized by Netradham Foundation with the help of Netradham Eye Care Pvt. Ltd. and Lalitpur M. No. P. Ward office No. 10.
The camp was conducted from 8 am to 3 pm. About 500 more people underwent health check-up in the camp. For the eye examination, the team of Dr.Sanyam Bajimaya and Dr. Sangeeta Shrestha team actively participated. Similarly, for nose, ear& throat Dr.Luna Mathema’s team participated actively and physician Dr. Deepak Malla for diabetic thyroid. In the camp, 305 people underwent eye examination, 119 people underwent nose/ear and throat examination and 82 people underwent diabetes and thyroid health check-up. Free sugar test was also conducted in the camp and heavy discounts were also arranged for additional blood tests. Netradham Foundation provided financial support for the health camp. Health equipment, medicines, spectacles and technical assistance were provided by Netradham Eye Care. Local support and mobilization of health volunteers was done from the ward office and Gurdwara. After the eye, health examination, the patients were arranged at Netradham Eye Care Center for necessary additional treatment.
