Eye Screening Camp at Golden Horizon Academy
Netradham Foundation in collaboration with Golden Horizon Academy, Balaju Tol Sudhar Community and Dhulikhel Hospital recently hosted a one-day free eye screening camp on 20th Jan, 2024 at the premises of Golden Horizon Academy, located in Balaju, Kathmandu. The event proved to be a resounding success, drawing the active participation of approximately 404 individuals. Under the guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Shrestha and Dr. Angira along with 5 resident doctors, accompanied by a dedicated team of six members, the eye screening camp provided comprehensive services to individuals spanning the age spectrum from 1 year to 40+ year.
This diverse turnout included students, educators, and members of the local community, all of whom recognized the inherent value in seizing the opportunity for free eye screening camp. The services ranged from routine vision testing to thorough examinations for common eye disorders. By addressing these fundamental aspects of eye care, the camp played a pivotal role in not only diagnosing potential issues but also in promoting overall eye health within the community.
