Eye Screening Camp at IJ Pioneer Secondary School

The Netradham Foundation organized a two-day free eye screening camp on the 29th and 31st of January 2024, held at the premises of I.J Pioneer Secondary School in Hattiban, Lalitpur. Led by Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya and Dr. Sangeeta Shrestha, along with a dedicated team of four members from the Netradham Eye Care Center, the camp aimed to provide essential eye care services to the community.

Over the course of the two-day program, a significant number of students ranging from grade 1 to grade 10, totaling more than 500, underwent screenings. Recognizing the urgency of certain cases, the medical team identified over 50 students requiring emergency treatment and promptly referred them to the Netradham Eye Care Center Pvt Ltd for further free clinical examinations. This proactive approach to identifying and addressing urgent cases highlights the team’s commitment to ensuring that individuals with critical eye health needs receive timely and appropriate care.

The leadership of Dr. Sanyam Bajimaya and Dr. Sangeeta Shrestha was instrumental in guiding the camp’s operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of services. Their expertise and dedication, combined with the support of the Netradham Eye Care Center team, facilitated the smooth execution of the program and contributed to its overall success.
