Ghusel Surgical Camp
Netradham Foundation conducted three-day free eye screening and surgery camp with technical support from Netradham Eye Care Center Pvt Ltd. The camp took place in Ward No.1 of Bagmati Municipality (Ghusel), with the camp dates set on 2082 Jestha 23, 24, and 25 (June 6th, 7th and 8th, 2025). The comprehensive outreach of the camp resulted in the provision of essential eye care services to approximately 311 patients. Among the beneficiaries, 10 individuals underwent free cataract eye surgeries, exemplifying the commitment of the organizers to addressing critical eye health needs within the community. The medical expertise at the forefront of this initiative was led by Dr. Pranav Shrestha, who, along with a dedicated team comprising seven members, provided valuable services to the camp attendees. The medical team conducted thorough examinations, diagnostics, and, where necessary, facilitated surgical interventions with the aim of restoring and preserving the vision of those in need. The three-day free eye and surgery camp organized by Netradham Foundation, supported by Netradham Eye Care Center Pvt. Ltd, exemplified a commendable effort in providing crucial eye care services to the community of Ghusel. The substantial number of patients served and the provision of free cataract eye surgeries underscored the positive impact of such collaborative initiatives on public health.
